Logo Design, Ad Campaign

Project Overview

Axis Scientific is a specialized research laboratory that utilizes two primary biological models—plants and fish—to drive scientific discovery. The project involved a complete brand redefinition and the creation of a visual language that balances industrial precision with futuristic innovation.

My Role: Brand Strategy, Identity Design, Conceptual Art Direction.


The Challenge

The laboratory needed a brand identity that felt both deeply rooted in nature and cutting-edge in its execution. The goal was to move away from traditional, “safe” scientific branding and move toward a bold, industrial aesthetic that communicates the power and scale of their research.

The Strategy: “The Power of Three”

The core of the rebrand was built around the tagline “The Power of…”, creating a modular messaging system that highlights Axis Scientific’s three pillars:

•  The Earth: Representing plant-based research models.

•  The Ocean: Representing aquatic/fish-based research models.

•  Scientific Research: The industrial and technological force that connects them.


The Visual Identity

I designed a logo and visual system that utilizes an Innovative-Industrial aesthetic. The design avoids clichés, instead using clean lines and a futuristic structure to convey stability, accuracy, and forward-thinking science.


Execution & Creative Output

Conceptual AdVisual Redefinition

The brand was stripped back and rebuilt to feel more authoritative. The new logo serves as a hallmark of quality, designed to look as impressive on a laboratory wall as it does on a digital screen.

Conceptual Advertising & Tagline Integration

I developed a series of high-impact designs centered on the “The Power of…” tagline. These designs use striking imagery to visually represent Earth, Ocean, and Science, ensuring the brand message is immediate and memorable.

High-Fidelity Mockups & Industrial Placement

To demonstrate the brand’s versatility, I created a suite of mockups showing the identity in its natural environment:

•  Industry Events: Large-scale exhibition graphics and environmental signage.

•  Field Locations: Strategic advertisements placed in contexts relevant to the global scientific community.
