Project Overview
Mikart is a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with over 50 years of experience in the large-scale pharmaceutical market. Their services cover the full drug lifecycle, from initial development and clinical trials to complex manufacturing and packaging.
My Role: Creative Direction, Brand Strategy, Principal Photography, Web & Exhibition Design.
The Challenge
In a highly technical industry often defined by sterile imagery and cold, mechanical aesthetics, Mikart needed to differentiate itself. The goal was to communicate their vast technological capabilities without losing sight of the personalized service and diverse human expertise that drives their 50-year success.
The Strategy: “The Human Element”
I developed a visual system where the “human element” merges seamlessly with scientific and technological precision.
• Human-Centric Narrative: By placing people at the center of the imagery, the brand evokes a sense of partnership and trust rather than just industrial output.
• Celebrating Diversity: I leveraged the company’s internal ethnic diversity to craft a global message, positioning Mikart as an inclusive, world-class organization capable of operating on an international scale.
• Visual Unity: The color strategy was anchored in the core brand palette, ensuring that every touchpoint—from digital to physical—felt like part of a unified, sophisticated ecosystem.
EXECUTION & CREATIVE OUTPUT
Principal Photography and Retouching
I personally executed the commercial photography for this project, including all post-production and complex photographic compositions. The goal was to capture the intersection of precision machinery and the skilled professionals who operate them.
Tradeshow & Environmental Design
To represent the brand in a physical space, I designed a large-scale exhibition booth. The design utilized high-impact visuals and a clean, modern layout to attract high-level pharmaceutical stakeholders in a competitive convention environment.
Digital Presence
The website was redesigned to act as a digital gateway to Mikart’s services, emphasizing the breadth of their CDMO capabilities while maintaining the “human-first” visual language established in the photography.
The Results
• Industry Recognition: Several original photographic compositions from this project were selected by leading industry magazines for front-cover features and high-profile advertisements.
• Brand Cohesion: Established a consistent visual identity that bridged the gap between internal employee pride and external client perception.
